Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals:A private non-profit tax-exempt corporation dedicated to the elimination of animal suffering. Chartered in 1888, it is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in the state.
Black Bear Conservation Committee: The mission of the (BBCC) is to promote the restoration of the Louisiana black bear in its historic range through education, research, and habitat management.
Frisky Ferrets of Louisiana: Dedicated to providing ferret health and care information to all as well as ferret placement and/or adoption information. Also has information on many aspects of ferret ownership.
Spay/Louisiana: A volunteer coalition of animal welfare organizations and individual citizens with a spay/neuter survey project to measure the availability of spay/neuter services in Louisiana.
