NTID - National Technical Institute for the Deaf: The National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) is the world's largest technical college for deaf students. It is one of 7 colleges of RIT in Rochester, NY.
Office of Co-op and Career Services: Cooperative Education, or co-op, integrates classroom study with work experience in industry. It allows students to alternate periods of full-time study at RIT with periods of full-time, paid employment that is related to their academic major. Students often return to the same employer in successive work periods, although neither party is obligated to follow this arrangement. Cooperative work assignments are to be challenging and progressive, reflecting the student's growth and knowledge and practical experience.
