Native Plant Collection: Collection established in 1931currently contains 288 taxa, including trees, shrubs and woody vines indigenous to the forested region of eastern North American.

Wildflower Garden: Founded in 1956, the garden contains a representative display of eastern woodland wildflowers that is maintained with ecologically sound landscaping techniques.
