Arcanacon: Held yearly around July in Melbourne. Mostly roleplaying and freeforms. Has a reputation for excellent writing.
CanCon: An annual games convention held in Canberra on the Australia Day Weekend.
Conquest: Held in Melbourne every Easter. Featuring roleplaying, freeforms, miniatures, card and board games. Site includes jargon decoder, help for convention newbies and behind-the-scenes information for tournament organisers.
DWARFCon: Three day convention of the Dandenong Wargamers and Role-players Federation. Gaming is held in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs.
Jester-Con: Tasmania's only convention, held in Launceston. A two-and-a-half day event. Includes: guest speaker and seminar, LARP, roleplaying, tabletop or miniature games, CCGs, miniature painting competitions, story writing competition and scavenger hunt.
Necronomicon: Held yearly (around October) in Sydney, Australia. Specialises in darker roleplaying and freeforms, although does offer a variety of games. Home of the Short Sharp Shocks tournament.
NotaCon: A monthly event held in Melbourne, featuring roleplaying and other games. More informal than a regular games convention.
Pandemonium: Adelaide's main games convention. Mostly card games, war games and roleplaying.
Phenomenon 2003: Roleplaying convention to be held in Canberra. Games will include Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, and Pheno's showcase, the Tryptich.
Sydcon: Sydney's Easter games convention, featuring roleplaying, wargames and card games.
