BackBoot: After 10 seconds of desktop inactivity, this program starts booting directories. This speeds up access to them considerably when accessed.
DiscSpace: Graphical disc usage display, from MW Software. Shows a diagram of disc usage, displaying a bar for each directory.
Each: Version of the unix find command, with extensions.
File Types: TypeInfo provides information about file types; TypeFind guesses the filetype from the file contents; MapIt correctly types files with DOS extensions.
Finder: File search utility. Takes a (wild-carded) file name, type, o creation dates and sizes; then searches for matches.
GraphFree: Stores the used space on your hard disc(s) and the current time in a CSV file every time you run it, so that you can create a graph showing how your hard disc is filling up.
Index: Comprehensive disc indexer allowing catalogues to be stored and viewed through an interface similar to the filer. Searching is possible, even through whole collections of index files.
Locate: File search utility allowing objects to be found based on a flexible set of criteria. Filenames can include wildcards and matches can depend on file size, modification date or file type.
OKmonitor: Designed to fill a gap in the RISC OS save design, greying out the OK if no location is set.
QuikBoot: Allows all the applications in a directory to be recursively booted.
Recurse: a utility which enables you to perform a specified action on a set of files within a directory structure.
Spin: Allows control of ADFS disks, spinning up or down immediately or after a delay.
SyncDiscs: A directory syncing utility.
Temp: Provides somewhere where temporary files can be put. Drop a file on the icon, and a directory will be created with a name like 16Jun01, the file saved inside it.
